Macky was special in so many ways. He was a delight to show—was a true showman! Movement was flawless and it was all about him when he was in the ring! “Hey Look at Me!” he’d seem to say. Mack took back-to-back majors with his second winning BOB over several ranked specials from the bred-by class! As a veteran, he continued to strut his stuff to take two Best Veteran in Sweeps including the very large North Central Newfoundland Club specialty and later that year at the River King Newfoundland Club regional specialty. But Macky was also a clown outside the ring— if he happened by a mirror, he loved to see his reflection! And he always would give me a big woof-woof with his deep bark when arriving home from work. He was my boy. And there is a special place in my heart for him. Sadly he developed osteosarcoma soon just prior to his 11th birthday.
