Wanting to keep a nice black girl from Breesy‘s breeding with Ethan, we were
blessed with one black girl out of a litter of five. Berry was showing great
promise in the ring as a youngster but a freak accident while running in the
yard like the silly girl she is, resulted in her fracturing her left medial
tarsus bone Oct 2006. We can only speculate she got her paw caught in some
timbers while zooming around. Unfortunately, her gait has not returned as we
had hoped, though she is structurally sound according to the orthopedic
surgeon who did the repair. Berry has many wonderful attributes including a
sweet feminine face, great bone and nice structure. Her only vice is being a
notorious ‘tail puller’! Which is all part of her sweet yet comical
personality. Berry has given us two wonderful litters-one sired by our own
handsome boy, Gomer and her second by a wonderful boy, Monroe (Ch. Council
Cup‘s Some Like It Hot). You can see pics of these litters on our Litter
Page. Berry is now spayed and thinks she is the alpha of the bunch here!
We’ll just let her keep thinking that way for now!
Berry at about 7mos at her first show-the large Winter Hoosier Classic
Cluster with Bob Forsyth judging. Berry took 1st in a large puppy bitch
class both days! She has also placed in puppy classes at two large regional
specialty shows--the NCNC and GLNC regional shows!
